The Republican debate is tonight but it provided no more clarity or fireworks than last week's Dem debate. First off, it's not really a debate, just the candidates on the same stage. You want a real debate? Check out another country where the candidates actually address each other. No, the debates are mild at best.
What's really going on is chicken. That's right chicken. Millions of people have already been eating chicken that were fed the same animal meal as our pets. Who knows? Maybe it's nothing, or maybe the FDA has twice the ability of FEMA. You decide.
Want to know how the country is doing? Want to know how many Republicans really feel? Those without Kool-Aid as their constant companion? One of the best articles of the year is in the Houston Chronicle. The country has changed. Running on the failed policies of a failed president isn't going to work.
Last thought of the night? Time Magazine has edited its top 100 influential people in the world. Guess who's missing (but was there before). Our president. This country will be back but it won't be on the shoulders of those who follow the current administration.

1. Some one said the democrates were like the seven Dwafts. Well these Republicians reminded me of the Weeble Wobbles. The repeat the same things they have been taught for the last six years. They have no appeal at all.No excitement.

2. 2. The democrats have 6 dwarfs and one wicked step mother. The dwarfs have nothing to say except to give comfort to the enemy through their speaker. They threaten security and embarrass our country with political hot air balloons and chicanery. The wicked stepmother, progressive socialist, and would be "confederate mama" strikes fear into the hearts of a third of all americans. She is 10 points behind the leading republican and next President of the United States Rudi Guiliani.

3. What a sad group of "nothings" repeating the same spin as Bush. Nothing new here only the same deceitful, incompetent, fear mongers, unintellectuals who actually think they are equipped to be President.
Don't these guys get it????? America no longer wants the corrupt, deceitful spin doctors we now have. Not one of these men stand a snow balls chance in hell.

4. Keep comments relevant to "kool-Aid and chicken".
"Check out another country where the candidates actually debate each other". Give us a break!
These debates are not debates at all but merely getting to know the candidates. When the field narrows to two or three candidates the real debates will begin.

5. Should one of these candidates make it to the White House, I will move to Canada.
Let's hope a dark horse contender will step up with some fresh ideas and a backbone to go with them.
Even a former military guy like Colin Powell would be better than what we are offered so far.
On second thought, he should be our next President.

6. Time Magazine's 100 list of "Most influencial"...Rosie's on it, Osama Bin Ladin's on it, Bush is not. Sound's like it's a good thing NOT to be on this list afterall. Guess the "influence" doesn't have to be GOOD, eh?
